Esta bolsa posee un espacio interior considerablemente mayor que sus dimensiones exteriores: unos 60 cm de lado y 1,2 m de profundidad en el interior. La bolsa puede contener hasta 250 kg, con un volumen máximo de 2 m 3 . La bolsa pesa 2,5 kg, independientemente de su contenido. Para sacar un objeto de la bolsa es necesaria una acción de utilizar.

Si se sobrecarga, perfora o rasga la bolsa, esta se destruye y su contenido se dispersa por el Plano Astral. Si se pone la bolsa del revés, su contenido se vuelca sin sufrir daño, pero la bolsa debe volver a ponerse del derecho antes de usarla de nuevo. La bolsa contiene aire suficiente para respirar durante 10 minutos, divididos entre el número de criaturas que necesiten respirar en su interior.

o un objeto similar destruye instantáneamente ambos objetos y abre un portal al Plano Astral. El portal se crea en el sitio en el que un objeto se introdujo dentro del otro. El portal absorbe a todas las criaturas situadas en una esfera de 3 m de radio centrada en él y las conduce a un lugar aleatorio del Plano Astral. Después, el portal se cierra. El portal funciona en un sentido y no puede volver a abrirse.

This bag has an interior space considerably larger than its outside dimensions—roughly 2 feet square and 4 feet deep on the inside. The bag can hold up to 500 pounds, not exceeding a volume of 64 cubic feet. The bag weighs 5 pounds, regardless of its contents. Retrieving an item from the bag requires a Utilize action. If the bag is overloaded, pierced, or torn, it is destroyed, and its contents are scattered in the Astral Plane. If the bag is turned inside out, its contents spill forth unharmed, but the bag must be put right before it can be used again. The bag holds enough air for 10 minutes of breathing, divided by the number of breathing creatures inside. Placing a Bag of Holding inside an extradimensional space created by a Handy Haversack, Portable Hole, or similar item instantly destroys both items and opens a gate to the Astral Plane. The gate originates where the one item was placed inside the other. Any creature within a 10-foot-radius Sphere centered on the gate is sucked through it to a random location on the Astral Plane. The gate then closes. The gate is one-way and can’t be reopened.
